EXHIBITION GETS SECOND AIRING WITH NEW PORTRAITS.

The organisers of Phizzfest asked me to show again the series of portraits I exhibited at the Arts Festival last year. I was delighted to be asked and included nine new portraits in the series that have not been shown till now. The work is on view in Woodstock Cafe, 156 Phibsborough Rd., Dublin 7, for the month of May - 7am to 7pm. The 21 prints are 50x50cm giclee prints mounted in simple steel frames
Thank you to all at Woodstock Cafe, who hosted a wonderful opening night with exquisite canopies and delicious wines. Thank you also to all the people who sat for me with patience and god humour. And to Phizzfest organisers and Tina Robinson for all their support.

I have lived in important places, times...

I have lived in important places, times... the opening line of Patrick Kavanagh's poem 'Epic' was part inspiration for this series of portraits of people who live and work in my home town of Phibsborough, Dublin. The first portraits were shown at the inaugural Phibsborough Arts Festival - PHIZZFEST, which took place in various venues around the urban village in the north inner city. Two of the portraits have won Bronze awards in the International Aperture Photographic Awards.

Here are the 12 portraits that were shown at the exhibition.
